Actionable Institutional Research & Data proudly announces Jason Ramsden as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. Ramsden will oversee Actionable IRD internal operations, including data privacy and security, finance, technology, business intelligence, and human resources.
“I am thrilled to announce Jason has been my silent partner in Actionable IRD’s founding and rapid growth. As a talented Chief Information Officer and respected veteran of independent schools, Ramsden brings unparalleled expertise and insight to our company. His stellar reputation for execution and track record of consistent excellence make him the perfect choice to lead operations,” said Actionable Institutional Research & Data CEO, Kelsey Vrooman.
Ramsden brings thirty years of experience in independent school admissions, communications and technology to Actionable IRD and will be instrumental in scaling the organization’s customized data and research services. “I have spent the last 23 years focused on helping independent schools improve their technology infrastructure and educational technology platforms, and the last 10 years focused on ways schools can use data to make better decisions. Partnering with Kelsey, a national leader focused on helping schools make mission-driven decisions using data, was a logical next step in my desire to broaden my commitment to the independent school community. Kelsey’s vision for developing and supporting confident, data-literate leaders in our schools is a compelling story and I look forward to being part of this important journey,” said Ramsden.
As Chief Information Officer at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, North Carolina, Ramsden oversees the school’s Library & Technology Services Department which includes the library team, innovation, design, and engineering department, and the technical services team. In addition, he is a member of the school’s leadership team and is responsible for helping the school use data to make informed decisions through the use of strategic surveys and data analytics. Ravenscroft Head of School, Doreen Kelly, said, “At Ravenscroft, we are committed to learning, leading, and serving, and I am so proud to see Jason contribute to Actionable Institutional Research & Data while continuing to serve our school. I have no doubt both organizations will benefit from Jason's amazing gifts. This is a win-win for all and more importantly a big win for others in the independent school community who will have the opportunity to be well served by Jason's skills, strategic thinking and vision. Congratulations to Kelsey and Jason and the entire Actionable Institutional Research & Data team!”
Ramsden currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), the national association supporting leadership in technology, innovation and data.
